Policy Protecting your privacy is important to the Canadian Journal of Neurological Science (“CJNS”). This Policy explains how CJNS uses and discloses the personal information collected from and provided by you while using CJNS’s Main Site (as defined in the CJNS Website Use Policy). Any personal information collected or provided to us through the Main Site will be treated with care, and subject to this Policy, will not be used or disclosed in ways to which you have not consented. Nevertheless, due to the nature of the Internet, security and privacy risks cannot be eliminated, therefore, CJNS cannot guarantee that your personal information will not be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Policy. Subject to certain legal exceptions, you will be given reasonable access to your personal information, and you will be entitled to challenge the accuracy and completeness of the information and to have it amended as appropriate. Tracking Information CJNS may use and share with our partners non-personal statistical or demographic information which cannot be connected to the identities or other personal information of individual users for research purposes. Other Matters The Main Site may contain links to other websites which collect information about you voluntarily or through cookies. CJNS has no responsibility or liability for or control over those other websites. If you stop using the Main Site or your permission to use the Main Site is terminated by CJNS, CJNS may continue to use and disclose your personal information in accordance with this Policy as amended from time to time. This Policy may be changed by CJNS from time to time in CJNS’s sole discretion and without any prior notice or liability to you or any other person. New versions of this Policy will be posted here and you should check for Policy updates.
