Figure 6: Ras activity of peripheral nerve tumors expressed as a percentage of total Ras in the activated Ras.GTP form, or quantitatively as femtomoles of Ras.GTP/m of tissue DNA analyzed by the enzymatic assay. Compared to non NF-1 Schwannomas, the amount of activated Ras.GTP in NF-1 neurofibromas and NF-1 neurogenic sarcomas were approximately elevated 6X and 15X respectively.
